Sending Photographs
The form only takes your written details, so please email any photographs to [email protected] with your name and postcode, which lets us match them to your enquiry. Only take them from a safe position on the ground. These are the details that help us most:
- Your postcode and a brief description of the problem.
- A wide photograph of the tree and one of the route to it, taken safely from the ground.
- Nearby buildings, boundaries, overhead cables or restricted access.
- Any known TPO, conservation area status or wildlife concern.
- Whether timber should be removed or left, and whether stump work is needed.
If the Situation Is Urgent
- Immediate danger to life: call 999.
- A tree touching electricity cables: stay well clear and call the network operator on 105.
- An immediate danger to a road or pavement: use Leeds City Council's tree emergencies page.
- Anything else urgent: email us with the postcode and the risk, and we'll let you know what we can do and when. Our emergency tree work page has more advice.
